I presume this would bring that low profile unit up to normal visibility?
However, if this unit was striking well away from the front line, like attacking industry centres, perhaps it would be able to resume its low profile?
Unless the attacking unit completely destroyed the target, I would have thought the target could return fire. I think there have been lots of occasions where fire is returned even though there may be nothing there to hit! How effective that return fire might be - I could not say.
