Invasion question.

I have a question about invasion. When you send your men over to a country does your army have to cover every bit of land the enemy country has? Or can you just blitz to the enemies capital city and take it over and then the country is yours with just an insurgency to take care of?

I'll be getting this game soon I'm just waiting for reviews to come out first.

Regions are conquered by controlling all of their towns. Of course, they could surrender.

if you set the victory condition for the scenario to "capital" the loss of their capital will force the surrender. Victory conditions cannot be changed for campaign. For total victory, it is suggested to take all cities and bases, the reset will fall to "supply creep".
