Dessertion of units?
Did we cover this? Will units maybe either overly ignored or put in ridiculous situations maybe just disappear to to speak?

Unit-based Surrender and Desertion are no longer going to be included as 'distinct' actions - instead, they are just part of the 'casualties' number you see when a unit is attacked. It really wasn't all that useful to have an entire battalion surrender to the enemy - it wasn't something that was going to happen a lot.
We may take another look at this in the future, but for this version I think it will work well as a 'automatic' part of the casualties calculation.
