what exactly do you mean when you (the devs) say future tech

Are you only talking about weapon systems that will likely be in production at the 2020 time ?

What about systems that could be around now,but nations simply don't want to make them for some reason or another ?

We where mostly thinking the 2020 stuff (Land warriors, FCS tanks, CVX Carriers, etc.)...

I didnt really have any specific system in mind.
I was just curious if systems that had been looked into by countries but decided against for some reason could still make it into the game.
