Q: Will we be able to have dummy para-drops like they did in ww2 ?
A: Currently not in the design. I’ve marked it down, we’ll have to see.
Q: Will we be able to lay down smoke to block an enemies view of approaching forces ?
A: Certain battalions that would normally be fielded with a smoke unit are assumed that one of the units in the battalion is putting out smoke and the battalion gets a profile bonus to reflect that. Lower profile means harder to spot. So smoke units are part of the battalion they are attached too and provide the bonus only for that battalion.
Q: If i remember right, we will have radar jamming right ?
A: Um, David?
Q: How far will units be able to "see"?
A: I’ve been thinking about this and still don’t have a satisfactory answer. Currently, it is assumed that units with no special electronics have about a 2km spotting range. Every unit has its own spotting range so this is some of what we are still researching.
Q: Are there any units that can enter enemy territory without declaring their presence by changing the zoc of the enemy hexs it enters ?
A: No. Currently as soon as you enter an enemy hex, you “capture†it and it changes ownership.

Here's an answer to "Dummy Paradrops"... If you send the plane unit that normally makes paradrops on a patrol mission inside enemy territory, your opponent will see the plane coming in and assume you are making a drop. He won't know you aren't until the plane has turned around without making the drop, so he will likely scramble towards that area. No you won't be throwing mannequins out of the plane to further fake him out, but it does get you part of the way there!
