This came as a complete suprise to me when they not only admitted it existed just the other day,but that they were already retiring it.

Now the normal pattern with these guys is to declare it retired (and still use it) when a suitable replacement is already firmly in service.
So as cool as it is to find out this really does exist,its even cooler to know (with some confidence) that there is already another even cooler replacement out there being used.

This one gonna make it into the game ?

Probably... I've made myself a note to buy the January issue that is supposed to have "more information" but I'll wait and see what the article has to say before I add it to the equipment file.

This seems to have been a testbed for certain technologies, such as radar-stealth features and so on. So we wouldn't specifically have a plane like this in the equipment list, but we could model some of our 'future technologies' against the ideas that this article is talking about.
