Forum search issue?
I was looking for a particular post of mine, I did a general search of my handle, only got 307 hits. I think we all know I have posted more than 307 times over my 11 years here. Is there an issue with search?

Re: Forum search issue?
Since this is still not working correctly and I have never received a response, I will assume it is broke.

Re: Forum search issue?
As of this moment I am getting 25 pages of my posts. It is sporadic and this is not the first time I have been unable to see all my posts. Shrugs, it is as some say, what it is.

If you search your handle, I think it just searching for posts in which you are mentioned. Click on your profile and you should see a link for how many threads you've posted and you should be able to bring up a full list of them. This may be working as designed, but I'm not certain.

Yes searching for a word in the search field just looks for that word in the text field.
To search for all the posts a user have made you can also click on their post-count. That will turn up all the posts that user have made (well limited by what areas of the board you can search).
Also there is the refined search field in the upper left just above the list of results.
