Thank you for your ongoing interest in our strategy game, Supreme Ruler 2010...
What's new :
1) Update 3 Now Available...
The much anticipated Update 3 is now available for download. It adds over 50 new units, a new mission ("Russian Bear"), a new option for assigning combat roles to your units that will allow your units to more intuitively auto-select targets and missiles, and significant improvements to the AI's use of offensive attacks and counter-attacks. 18 scenarios have also been updated or improved, and many other new features have been added, such as new World Market assistance options, new game option settings, and much more. Feedback and suggestions from our Forum have also been incorporated into this Update. This is part of our ongoing commitment to make Supreme Ruler 2010 the best game possible! To get the update, choose the "Check for Updates" option in the Supreme Ruler 2010 program group, or download it directly from the following link:

4) North American Distribution...
As many of you who've tried to purchase Supreme Ruler 2010 know, we haven't had the best distribution, and finding it on retail store shelves is sometimes difficult... Fortunately there are many retailers that do have respect for strategy games players, and we are doing our best to keep an updated list on our forum of retailers stocking Supreme Ruler 2010...
Here's a cross-section of some of the retailers stocking our game:
Future Shop (Canada) : In-Store and Online Sales
Amazon.com : Online Sales
Chips and Bits : Online Sales
Fry's Electronics : In-Store and Online Sales
EB Games (US) : In-Store Only
Naval Warfare Simulations - Online Sales

5) European Distribution...
As we mentioned in our last newsletter, our publisher Strategy First has signed distribution agreements for most of Europe. Localization of the game into various languages has begun. French, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish, and Russian versions of the game will all hopefully be shipping by early next year. It should also be noted that a number of European resellers have imported Supreme Ruler 2010 directly, and have stock available for immediate shipment - check the website or forum links mentioned above for a list of resellers that we are aware of.
6) Wargamer Micro Site
Since the release of Supreme Ruler 2010 in May, the Wargamer website has been developing a micro-site devoted to the game. In addition to general discussions about the game, there are also articles about the Miltary, Diplomatic, and Economic aspects of the game, and my favourite... a discussion on whether the story-line for Supreme Ruler 2010 is at all plausible. It makes a great read!
7) Supreme Wiki
We are the first to admit that Supreme Ruler 2010 is more complex than your average game. In our opinion that is one of its great assets! However this does make for some frustration during the learning process for new players. Fortunately there is the "Supeme Wiki", a free-content, player-written encyclopedia on Supreme Ruler 2010. It endeavors to make available all information that is useful to a player but that is not in the tutorial or manual. In a wiki, everyone is an author, and you can edit any page by clicking on "edit" at the bottom of each article.
That's about it for today...
Stay tuned for further details!
