Here's a question to the community;
Should the game option of Colonies Keep Military Complexes default on or off?
When off, any location with a military complex is owned by the parent/empire region. If you start construction of a military complex in a colony, you gain ownership of that location. In SRU, it defaulted off because you could not control anything belonging to your colony. SR2030 allows players to change focus and "become" the colony. Also, when playing as the empire, you can select and issue orders to units belonging to your colony.
With the expanded control of colonies, should be change the default to on?

Re: Colonies and Military Complexes
I think it should be left off, if you want to give your colony some military production you can always release the land back to them.Balthagor wrote: ↑Apr 12 2023 Here's a question to the community;

Of course, maybe if you jump to your colony and build (rather than build as master country) then it shouldn't transfer the territory.
