Make 1 example for instance:
you need rare earth minerals, gold, lithium to produce computer chips
you need copper for electronic manufacturing
you need oil for a plastics manufacturing
you need rubber for isolation manufacturing
you need these 4 then - to produce modern helmets for fighter jets
Make this moddable - so we users can add the resources (seen in previous post I made)
the industrial base needed and the products that's then needed to produce the units
and make sure you expose certain parts of the AI into a DLL as civilian did in Civ4 - I'd love to add this kind of stuff to the game including the graphics for it.
I'll also add the AI to make sure the AI knows how to produce such chains of manufacturing..
Just add 1 single example - and we modders can add over the years more complex manufacturing.

Re: Industrial chains
after the next major nuclear exchange - coal and iron will be pretty hightech
in other cases i suggest trying factorio for your production chain addiction

Re: Industrial chains
Well, Timber is not really used for much, so it could be replaced.

You’d like this thread arguing for this and other economic features to be added in for SR30. Give it a read and leave some feedback if you’d like!
