Among the several big changes I noticed from 2020 to Ultimate, was the way the world market works.
In leaving an experiment running on a small map for almost 100 years I noticed that as long as demand outpaces supply for a given good worldwide, the hex production capacity for that given good will increase until it matches.
That happens even for goods that are not marked as "export opportunities", and it happens way faster than world demand can grow and regardless of hex production values in the WMData in the current or next file.
It would be nice if the rate at which this "correction" is made was a value we could set in the INIs or WMData. So we could make it smaller or disable it altogether for certain scenarios where scarcity and high prices is the goal.
Talking about high prices, it is worth noting that the markup cap of 2x on the base price is too low for some goods like Rubber, and it would be nice to be able to mod it too, or even have it changed in the base game so rubber can be exported.

Amazing to hear that. Thanks.
I will be looking forward to see if we get it on an update sometime!

ah the good ol' automatic production adjustment:
would very like to see: an option to disable it.

Yes, I concur that the auto hex production increase should go. And prices should be much more freely flowing. Would help if we ever get some of the older sandboxes back (36, 49 etc).

I'll just add, that I prefer to stick with a base amount, and then use more facilities/techs to boost output rather than artificially bump hex capability. This would also be carried forward into any other sandboxes as these would be assumed to have both lower gdp and lower tech. It'll also help to get rid of the transitional values that always caused issues in SRU for '49 backwards.
