if thats the correct way they are supposed to be facing while flying,the ones i saw were indeed flying backward.In this pic, see how the cockpit has a clear view in the direction it shows as flying via the grey pathline , the ones i saw were definitely moving in the opposite dir, with the line of sight from the cockpit blocked by the rear fuselage.
