I was wondering about unit initiative.
I don't want the AI randomly moving my units around so I set it at zero.
But I just thought of something, does this mean I will have to manually tell an artillery unit to fire at an enemy that comes within range? Or to tell a fighter bomber to bomb a target which just came within range?
I liked how the AI automatically handles that, so if that would have to be manual now at 0 initiative what is a good setting to use so the AI will do this for me but NOT move my units around?

Your Arty will indeed fire upon anything spotted within it's range regardless of initiative, as long as you allow such actions in the ROE. As for your FBs, personally I have not had good luck letting air forces do anything that I did not order them to. They will attack any enemy forces that approach their air base, but not at anything like their full range. If you "know" where the enemy will probably come from, you might use a patrol order that covers the approach.
If you want to try some initiative over 0%, just experiment a bit. 10%-15% might be enough to achieve the desired effect.
