• Real Time games can be set to either Paused or one of five speeds (Extra Slow and Double Fast are access by a 2nd click on the Slow and Fast time settings respectively) and the speed setting can be altered at any time during a game (this option may be affected by Multi-Player Game Settings). Does this thing work? It seems to me that this ‘2nd click’ is not available function in the game.

I do not think I ever noticed that in the manual. I do know this, the manual was printed prematurely, and several aspects of the game were changed or removed after printing. I have never noticed the game going faster or slower if I double clicked the speed tabs, so this might be one of the things changed.

As far as I am aware, the slowest speed is simply the tab underneath the pause tab. If things are overwhelming me I just pause. Especially when there is action in more than one general area. I also handle my economy , research, and production stuff in pause.

for 2010, the slowest speed is as mentioned, the one below the pause button.
if you want to double your speed, there is a game setting then each in game speed setting is doubled. (this is assuming your computer can handle a double fast speed).

for 2020 we have a new very slow speed, plus a very fast speed... and another setting that should allow you to run the game as fast as your CPU will let you run it. So if you have a very fast machine, you should see time go real fast.

Of course, things may change in the final product upon release from what I am discussing.

This is awesome, I hope it makes it because my 2010 games are unbearably slow!
