Hey ALL
Im a big fan of Super Power 2,
I forgive you
and I heard this game was out. So, i bought it and WOW!!! An excellent game! Complicated, but hey!, who said running a country is a breeze? lol.
Anyway, I have a couple of questions:
After defeating a region, how do you get Loyalty from the annexed hexe's?
Sadly you cant.If your playing a campaign, the conquered territory will be yours and have a regular loyalty in the next step.
Push nicely for them to improve this in sr2020
How do you supply a military base?
I dont understand this question.Bases make their own suppliesWhen i send supply convoys to troops that need it, and place them in the same hex as the needed troops, I can't see a difference that my troops get those supplies?, besides, the cargo of the supply trucks never decreases?
Not sure what, but your likely doing something wrong than.Supply has been shown to work since the games release.
The supply trucks (and other supply units) will transfer their supplies as long as they are at least as close as an adjacent hex and there are units in need.
And yes, the supplies on the trucks do count down as the transfer is made.
So i dont know whats happening in your caseWhen one annex's a regions resources, I notice that those resources barely affect my new resources, so basically, after taking eg, an oil platform and all, my energy production BARELY increases?
This could simply be the loyalty penalty.Facilities produce their goods (and resources)at a grealty reduced rate IF they are in a hex with a low rating.
Its one part of the original planned loyalty system that was implemented and is working. When annaxing a region, and i want to build new industries on say oil fields, I notice that the potential production is FAR less than if i built it in my own regions? Easy put, those regions' resource potential is nothing compared to my own? Which is impossible, eg playing as South Africa, and comparing it with eg Nigeria, Nigeria's oil fileds are suppose to be way more productive than my own, yet it's not?
Same aswer as above, the loyalty penalty at work---
When i select a tech to research, i see it can take up to 20 yrs to research a simple military design? Also, the R&D budget is actually getting more money than suggested?
Hhahaha this is a complicated one.Tech can be slow IF you cant provide both a large amount of research centers and the cash to fund them.
Cash is not hard to get in the game though,so thats where you should look to refine your aproach to research.
As for the break down of what you pay vs what your supposed to pay vs what you get etc...I suggest you read thru the research forum any posts less than 1 year old.Giving the posts with newer made dates more wieght than ones with older dates.
Rest assured though, once you figure it out, you will be able to make large steps in research
I see there is an option for Intelligence, where do i access Intelligence ops?
Intelligence didnt make the feature cut, sadly though the manual was done before the cut.So some features in it are not present in the gameAnyway, those are just a few questions i can think of at the moment, and i really appreciate it guys.
Thank YOU
