I can't believe that this is the first game I still love to play regularly after a year and 3 months. I was a beta tester as well so really closer to a year and 6 months. I know a lot of people are saying it's not a finished game, but I still find it interesting and challenging especially since the last update. I feel that aome people are being a bit picky in that they want the game to be 100% perfect in every aspect and to have all the features they want in it, but I think it is pretty close to it anyway. A lot of the things people ask for are things that wouldn't really add much to game play (except the defection thingy). So I really look forward to your next title and know that i'll be playing this game for a long time to come. The money i spent on import tax and shipping to get it early was well worth it!

Not only that but some people don't seems to understand that they harm SR2010/BG by placing -negative- critisism on the boards.Espacialy when those critisisms are obsolete and adds nothing constructive to new developments.
I really admire the way the Goats handle these kind of posts...
But again please be aware what you're posting (probably new buyers are lurking the forum before they decide to buy the game...)
Critisism is OK but "bitching" is not done when you want a new game by BattleGoat ...

I must say that, watching this take place from the sidelines, I am disgusted by the attitude of certain individuals here who are complaining about the state of the game. Now, admittedly, anybody can stand around and preach that a game can be so much more than it is. That's because full potential can never be realized. Also, it is possible to be upset with some minor issues with a game, as no game is ever truly perfect (except for the most simple of them).

However, to see an individual who I thought was a respectable member of the community use such a snide and condescending tone when referring to minor issues with an excellent game that are blown out of proportion, THAT is unacceptable. Have you ever played Paradox Interactive's Diplomacy? THAT is a game that has issues, and is a perfectly valid target for complaining. The game is in such a sorry state that the company gave up on it a while back, and moved on to other projects. If a game is at that level or even below it, then bitch and moan all you want. SR2010, however, is nowhere near that level, is the launch project for a new company composed of four people, and works as well as one should expect. If you don't like it, use constructive criticism. Like BigStone said, don't repeat previous criticism, and don't insult the integrity of the developers.

For taking this abuse with such poise, I salute BG. If only we all could be like you.
