I am seriously thinking of buying this game after i tried out the demo, but can i play with a world map instead of region map or is the game only for region maps???

There are a couple of different world maps.
One with what amounts to continental regions....the other is WWIII with most countries represented. There are also region sizes in between. Full Europe scenarios etc...
