Hey heres a question. How will education and information work?

Will countries whos pend more money in education get techs researched faster, better industrial facilities etc all because of better educated people or something similar?

And will how education is done play a role? Ex- Censorship and Propoganda to make a population utterly loyal and closeminded etc.

A region's "Education" is measured in their Literacy Rate. That rate will influence other factors, Domestic Approval, International Approval, Industry Efficiency, GDP/c etc...

The downside for some leaders, is that it will also be harder to fool the population and any movement away from a Democratic Gov't (if that's what they have) will be more criticized and fought against.

That wasn't yet in our design, but it is a pretty good idea... spending in education could in itself help the tech level and productivity of a region, much like the presence of universities do in the real world.
