Now thats cool.It doesnt really affect the game ,but its very cool none the less.

Actually it did affect the game because Larry Bond became a beta tester and contributed his ideas / suggestions towards the game. With his game design experience with Harpoon and his other titles Larry was able to offer feedback that we enjoyed hearing, made mostly by phone (in case you want to search the forum you won't find his input there). It was another perspective to hear input from a published author whose books specialize in our game genre - modern warfare - and it was awesome to see how excited he was to talk to us about our game.

Has anyone read any of his books?

Well now, thats something i would have liked to know as it occurred .
Just at what time did he become a betatester ?

Ive read most of his books.

When did Larry Bond first get a hold of our game? I don't know the exact date but it was a few months ago ...

I'm sure many would have liked to know months ago but it was kept low key.

The press release was supposed to go out March 31st, for the PR person at Strategy First was sick... I too thought this when I saw it go out on Friday morning, but I can assure you we're not pulling anyone's leg

(If it was an April Fools joke we would have had to make it a bit crazier, ie using J.K. Rowling instead

Very, very cool. Now if you can convince Larry to write another novel you'd be my heroes for sure!!! Read everything he's written and he's my favorite author.
