Below 30% output and productivity start to falter. Below 20% you're getting into real trouble.

But most (all?) of the DAR effects are unimplemented now, right? I haven't seen any effects having a low DAR.

I wonder how is it possible to maintain a high DAR with a poor region. So far I have never been able to keep DAR above 20-30% with a low-population region. In NW map some AI-controlled regions have DAR even as low as 8%.

The 'subtle' DAR effects are in, the 'major' ones are not.

For example:

Low approval will start to effect worker output, industry productivity, tax collection, conscription, and many other related values. It is one element of many that can cause an economy to start to decline.

The 'major' elements that are currently missing are riots, insurgencies, and civil wars. You'll need to wait for that fun :-)

No matter how well I do, I can't get my DAR to go up. At all. Am I merely incompetent, or is something wrong.

What map? What Region?

I'll try and find a good one for DAR and see what I can get it up to...

We are looking into the DAR formulas, they may be a little too restrictive. Though, as in the real world, it is very hard to get approval rates over 50%.

Still if we cant get over 50 i dont think the 30% area should be where things start to falter in that case it should be more around 20-25 where industry output etc is effected

Agreed...As is, practically by starting the game, your DAR plummets. I consider myself blessed to be near 40.

Well, arent regions supposed to be kinda in trouble at the start of a scenario ?

I mean the world has gone to heck, this should affect the individual regions right ?

Is it that the 30% is too high for the bad effects to get you, or is it that its too easy too end up at the 30% mark.

In other words, perhaps its the trip to ,thats the problem, and not the destination.
