Re: The Falkland Islands

i agree with the comments regarding the degredation in the uk's ability to project power

even the Harriers are retired now, can't really provide air cover with Apaches flying off the hms ocean. new A330 MRTTs are just coming into service now but those VC10s and Tristars are getting awfully tired.

Ok i am in 1958...BBI-Summit tech level 80... Just to reinforce the point, you've achieved "Electronic Fire Control" and "Naval SAM Ordinance" techs which are 1972/1980 techs respectively. It makes sense that you're able to research a 1980 battleship haha one of my beefs is the use of 'ordinance' r...

How about United States military bases in Newfoundland? Even after Newfoundland joined Canada in 1949 they remained operational for decades afterwards. Main ones would be:

Harmon AFB: Stephenville, NL
NAS Argentia: Argentia, NL
Pepperrell AFB: St. John's, NL

I was impressed with the detail regarding the accurate naming of Canadian Forces bases but there were a few notable US omissions, namely Barksdale and Loring AFBs.

Re: Hundanes Cold War AAR

I applaud the detail that you put into this but perhaps the time would be better spent playing the game? I'll read it but I don't know if others will.
