Say it costs 100 mill to research ... is it 100 mill over 2 years if 50% and 100mill over 1 year at 100% ? if so... wouldn't poor nations 'benefit' by having a lower research efficiency since the cost/day is lower? Not sure why i gave in so quickly and bought it, but i guess it had something to do with my other game being down :/ Anyway -> I was playing shattered world in sandbox mode. Unplayable. Game speed is medium ('3rd from bottom) and every few seconds its stuttering with my background music cutting out....

I can only second the option to have a "no events" option during game start.

And no... please don't tell me again to mod the game myself. Regardless of how 'easy' it is. If it is so damn easy, provide an option for it ingame.

just a little update: 14 years in and there's quite a few countries with 100-300k standing armies. But there's also a lot with less than 5k army staff. Those are the ones without land fabs. I"m assuming the hex loyalty thing a few posts up by me is not possible? Would it be possible for you to disable the reduced production effects of hex loyalty in your mod? It being a shattered world with the entire premise of the situation to blob and form greater nations, its ridiculous game design...
