In the settings befoer you start a game, you have the option of setting your own leaning - left, moderate, or conservative. What, if any, effect does that have ?

I find the units to be to expensive... maybe im doing it wrong. I cherrypick some highend units like good long range SAM or tanks that i wont be able to produce for a long time, but surely producing them yourself is cheaper ?

No.

The amount of units that can be fielded should be limited by what the economy can support and the manpower pool - not production capabilities.

I think this is a very good solution.

I have had the same complaints when playing austria - Still don't understand why they dont have at least 1 production facility.

I have the grid on. That does nothing for the LOS inside your boarders, as the grid is always on. The slight shading is very hard to spot if you dont have LOS.

It is extremely difficult to tell if a hex has line of sight, especially in your own territory, with the current grey shading. 1) Loyalty penalties are reduced when Civilian Approval (DAR) is high - above 35% to start to see improvement, and about 60% for full production

Usually, if I annex territory, I completely strip it of industry and only leave resource buildings that I can't place at "home". I do the same. I think it's the best indicator for broken gameplay in regards to loyalty (penalties). Don't get me wrong BG, i do want loyalty penalties, but they have to...
