I'm really hoping they eventually get around to adding the ability to release/create countries and rebellions, since that hurts replayability when you're trying to play a long game. :C This is my no.1 concern as well, as I like to play really long games (10-50 years) and it usually becomes too stat...

The AI may be doing two things wrong (that it could realistically do better) that lead to its demise: 1. It doesn't store/save as many military goods as it might need at war, even before declaring it. 2. The AI is not able to purchase enough military goods when at war. I'm sure this is not isolated ...

YoMomma in your example, nothing changes :) Russian lands controlled by other countries are just the other countries same as before, just with different territorial bounds. Russia remains as 1 country always, whether it exists or whether it is partisan country or a real one.

Did battles occur in these territories that suffered population loss? Were there lots of city exchanges? Whenever there are fires shot, civilians die, especially if battles happen in big cities. That'd explain the loss of human life. I think there might also be more emigrants during a war.

I have no problems with fabs being built.

I have problems with the AI having no limits in how many units they build to the point it's unrealistic, not to mention slows down the game.

I would like to add that it'd be great if the AI used flotillas instead of just scattering their naval units randomly as is on. That would be more realistic and challenging - win win.

If technically possible I think it would be nice if you could allow the player to send missiles/nukes (understandably not through strategical nuking UI, but by using units to shoot the missiles) to their own territory. Possible uses: *Role-playing - destroying an annexed territory in scorched earth ...
