It seems this mod randomly switches the places of every country in the world, so that if you try to play as the Soviet Union you end up starting as Pakistan - and if you attempt to startup Pakistan you end up with Croatia that isn't even independent.

This is a scenario and will therefore not affect existing save games. I would love to see it updated to the current version of the game, I have the old version on my computer, but it was based on a much older version (2011) of the campaign so I doubt you would have much use of it except for updating.

Actually, none of those countries should have a research centre. Israel should not have an intelligence academy either. I'll make note to remove those. Israel needs a lot of other things though to be able to perform as they did in our world. Even when played by a human it is extremely difficult to ...
Nice mod, but time passes by way too slowly for me. Yup, thats why I recomended higher system specs  I don't know why, but despite very high system specs it runs extremely slow for me too. It also regularly crashes from a lot of clicking around (from actually playing and not just staring at t...
Seems like that is a very risky strategy against active human players who will simply move their troops closer (not to mention they probably will have ample fighter capacity to intercept you with).
What is the real use of fortifications? They seem not to have the ability to fire against enemy. They seem only to resist demolition. But how this adds to the hexe's power? Is it reasonable to mod them in baracks with much more resistance so to protect army in them at times of heavy bombing? I have...
I'd say it sounds like you've really thought this out. I don't know gameranger, but judging by what I just read after googling, it shouldn't be a problem. Will a research center limit of 8 be all that binding? I don't know the tech tree that well, but it seems that, with 8 research centers, and uni...
Sounds like we might be a match regarding playing style. I have been dreaming for ages for a chance to be part of a more or less historical Cold War RP game. I live in Sweden thus part of the Central European time zone (summer time ends in a couple of days). Due to college (political science) it may...
Regarding aircraft carriers, the USA today has 11 supercarriers, for your information. They also have a large number of ships designated as amphibious assault ships which can launch both aircraft and large numbers of helicopters, not to mention cruise missiles and ground troops including heavy weapo...

Check the automated assembly line tech in the vanilla version of the game. Apparently that tech gives an "urban development bonus". I think that is your solution for achieving somewhat more correct urban population levels in the mod.
I might be interested in this, there aren't many other games around, and the guidelines you described sound great to me. But be warned that I am not in the US, but Sweden; on the other hand my connection capacity is good, I've played small 3-player games of SR2020 without issues, as the host. Precis...
