Re: Very disapointed
Stacking bug has been taken care of splendidly! The frustrating thing for me is, that due to the destack bug, I have never experienced any game after the mid 1950's (unless I go with lower volitility setting than High). And I've had the game since Steam release. I hardly ever play it because I know...

Re: Very disapointed
But again, if we could have done it sooner, why wouldn't we have done so? If it took this long to make the update there were reasons. Business as well as development reasons. I'm a Steam user who also wishes he could use the pre-update patches on offer, but I cant. So I'm hoping that the time used ...

Re: Clearly a newbie, need help
I think one of the easiest countries to play as a new person to this game is Argentina. Starts off with a lot of good resources, and the ability to industrially expand without issue. Also if war is on your mind, the surrounding countries are not exactly strong either, so it's a good stepping stone t...

Re: Update 3 Testing (not the actual update)
Big Punisher. You can create a partition right inside windows without any additional applications. Start-->Right click Computer and choose "manage". Go down to Disk Management and it will list your available disk's. Simply right click a disk and shrink volume by 20GB. Then format it as NTFS like MrG...

Re: Questions
Had a quick skim through the thread, and in regards to your first question. Do you need to move them by air? If the answer is no, then move them by supply trucks to their destination.

Re: Update 3 Testing (not the actual update)
When will you release update 3? It is enough to talk on it! Come on! Huh? if you simply download the beta update 3 you'll have the most fixes already included. So I'm not really following you Some of us have it on Steam. Trying to manually update games that run through Steam, can be a complete head...

Re: To be continued...
I've send an army force of roughly 2 Million troops into the soviet union. Not sure what you mean, but Adolf didn't send much more then I did.. Barbarossa was around the over 3.9 million axis personnel. That's a few more than 2 million :-) Edit: Actually the numbers are a bit more than that. Divisi...

Re: To be continued...
If this was something to happen, I really would suggest a huge overhaul of the diplomacy arena. We all Know Hitler and his ways he got to power (google Ernst Rohm, ect). This era was all about diplomacy. The Sr engine would need a massive overhaul for the diplomacy part of anything in this timescale...

Re: Attacking russia
I usually build a line of fortifications, and entrench 7x units with the highest close attack values I can. Then I send small expeditionary forces to take some land, and drag the Russian units to my fortified lines. Have stacks of arty behind the forts (with supply units ofc, anti air behind that (r...

Re: Auto and manual save game crashes
As Balthagor said, upload the files guys, and let others take a peeky. I don't mind running a few save games, I can pop it on my main system, and do my work on my lappytop.
