Which is only 50,000 per year or about 4000 month or even only 140 people per day. It still isn't particularly quick.

Re: Recruiting Soldiers and CONSCRIPTION

How quickly do you think you could conscript someone? A week? A Month? 3 Months? Personally I think there should be the option of determining the length of conscript training, so you can go down the route of grabbing people of the streets, this would lead to a quick manpower growth but a big big hit...

Re: Elections...

If I could actually vote in these elections I would probably be voting Republican or possibly Libertarian. I was all for 'change' as it were and gave Obama a chance but my patience has run out and therefore I feel further change is in order back to something sensible.

Re: Announcement: Supreme Ruler Cold War !

Welcome back! :) You didn't think we'd just be happy with what we've done so far, did you? ;) Nice to be back 8) Well I didn't think you would be standing still that's for sure, I just didn't expect your next project to be in a time period of real interest to me. (Not that 2010/20 weren't interesti...

Re: Announcement: Supreme Ruler Cold War !

So I find myself over here and suddenly very interested to hear you guys are working on a Cold War game, might have to hang around for a bit  PS: You guys still haven't ma...

Re: Iraq just figures out now, that 19 of its migs have been

Should someone be looking to see if youve got some oil vouchers tucked away No no, nothing to see here move along *whistles innocently* As the Iraqi Minister says, pretty much all theyve got are helicopters at the moment,so hes looking at it as better than nothing, to restart the jet portion ...

Re: Iraq just figures out now, that 19 of its migs have been

I like the way at the end of the article it appears there is tons of Iraqi equipment just lying around all over the world, how can you forget about that sort of thing!! Heck I might go dig around in my garden see if any MiGs are buried in it. On a serious note, are MiG 21s really what the Iraqi air ...

Im not trying in anyway to stir things here, but why does scotland want its independence from the UK? Its one thing (among many others ) that I have never quite understood. |O

Re: Rapidshare

Well I think that the service itself is legal (eg uploading, storing and downloading files on/from the web) however those files could be illegal, such as films and the like due to copyright infringment. Its the same story with P2P torrents and the like, the software is legal but what is downloaded i...

Something that has irritated me for some time is that the TU-160 is considered obsolete, why i dont know cause from what I have read it is probably the Russians most capable bomber and similar in capabilitiy to the B1, but it is still obsolete!!

Why? who knows?

*rant mode off*

While certainly an interesting idea, I cant see it happening, for 1 main main reason other than the cost and complexity of such a project. That being that the Red Sea is connected to the Suez Canal, which connects the Med with the Indian Ocean, as a result is a key trade artery. Your not going to da...
