Yes, the improvements are significant! But still a lot of work to do! :) AI isn't perfect, not by a long shot. Best out there on the market, but still a lot of work to do. especially the getting stuck is now my most annoying issue I have.. And yes, indeed units to go to ports for nothing indeed also...

my suggestion: virtual environments for anything GUI related is a bad idea. Even if you can get it to work, performance will be a killer. Use dual boot. I played a lot with virtual machines... or emulators.. emulators are the worst.. virtual machines better, but in my experience only good enough for...

2 or 3 years ago I claimed that the AI needs a way to figure where on the front lines more units are needed to advance to counter incursions.. basically I said, at first don't send in all the troops if not needed to keep the speed of the AI maximum but if you see your advance is stuck, enemy pushing...

This isn't working really right now is it. I think there is just some basic random implementation, correct? Because no matter what setting I put it at, nothing changes. I targeted france and specifically set France to HIGH espionage and RECON. I have 200 spies in my pool. 198-192 remain in the pool....

You are correct. I put this request forward already a while ago to have all naval ships not just move randomly always but combined tactics. UBoots sometimes move alone randomly so hard to take them out all at once: Nuclear retaliation strategy. Uboots to take out enemy transports, wolf-pack strategy...
