No info on mother of all files on the wiki.. the scenario file (this file should be explained in dept under "Modding Supreme Ruler"). This file links all the files together and got campaign settings. For events there is info on that, but yeah good luck. I am currently working on an updated version ...

Sounds like it could be an event that is causing this. Open up the .SCENARIO file and find the line: #include "Global Crisis.csv" and change it to: //#include "Global Crisis.csv" Save the file, recache and see if you pass the April 14th crash date. The game should accept dual channel sound files as long as it is a .wav file using the correct codec. Sample rate should be 22050 Hz, bits per sample should be 16.
