Can you be more specific? What happens? Spikes/drops in consumer demand?

PS - one idea that came up only recently was to have the possibility of an AI region changing 'personality' when the leadership changes - so if a passive-AI loses an election, the new leader may not be so passive, etc. Agreed, good idea. In fact, it seems almost that there should be a greater chanc...

Top of my list is intel, and here's why. Currently, we get very little information about surrounding regions, and it hurts our war planning. Here is an example - say we are hurting for Petroleum...but OH! We see a bunch of oil rigs just across the border. Now...are those 5% oil rigs or are they 50% ...

Yes...remember that you are dealing with a new nation whose citzenry expects the same level of government support that the received under their late, undivided nation. Unfortunately, most regions aren't in a position to do that.

I'm not comparing the games at all. I'm comparing some of the prattle on the forums. Someone would point out a flaw in the game and then the 200 fanbois would converge on them and tell them that NO! It wasn't true! The game would be fixed! This game is already much better than that one. But the conf...

Your response was reasonable I think. But the forum is starting to gravitate toward "defend at all costs". It reminds me of the Quicksilver forums a few years back....

Though I am definitely not comparing the products produced by the two very different companies.

Lets avoid making this a fanboi forum guys. His point about inflation is interesting and well received by me. I'm interested in if his unit production costs have increased along with his material production costs. If they have, then he isn't really making money. If they have NOT, then this IS an exp...

I see this as being a very easy and straight-forward option. We know that units are pathed immediately upon getting their orders. So alls you do is make sure that with this option enabled you path them all together and at the speed of the slowest unit. Doesn't seem that complex to me.

Or instead of being so glum, you could give some constructive feedback and perhaps the game could end up being better than you hoped.

I think you guys missed what he said. He said that when you move a stack of units, they should move at the speed of the slowest unit in the stack.

I think it is a good idea - or at least a good option. It would be a good option to have as a shift-click vs. regular click on movement I think.

My 2 cents is that I don't believe the engine is built to truly handle the proper use of stealth units. What color are stealth fighters and bombers? They're that color because they are designed to be flown at NIGHT. Any plane flying over enemy territory during the day is going to be spotted. Period....

Okay, I like that point. I once heard someone say, and I believe it, that if we had a war on the scale of WWII today that our military stockpiles would be exhausted in two weeks due to the increase in ROF and lethality of arms.

To the best of my knowledge the only two things that affect construction speed are the size of the facility and the supply in the area. I've heard that you can speed it up by placing an engineer unit on the construction site, but that just (I believe) bumps up the supply aspect of the equation, so i...
