Re: Inuit Nation

I still have the save and plan on coming back to it, but have to take a break from it for a bit.

Re: Inuit Nation

September, 2010. Almost finished replacing all coal with nuclear power, and still just doing research. Very slow going but I did unlock a very sweet new multi-role plane, and have access to a new sub that is slightly inferior to the LA class I have been using. I'll start building the F/A-2 Ghost whe...

Re: Inuit Nation

I took a few days off from work, and I didn't want to play SRU too much at home - then i'd be burned out or bored with it at work. 7 seconds per tick at work on tablet, about 2 ticks per second at home on the tower. 2006 I am still doing research research research. 1-2 nuclear power plants and some ...

Re: Worldwide units need some loving

I have every tank, plane and ship tech into the 21st century. Think I would know if I had a design I could research bud. Pretty simple screen for me to look at, but you keep looking for stuff I didn't see in that very short unit design research list I have because I obviously am missing the wonderfu...

Re: Worldwide units need some loving

IOF-2 is an infantry unit. Around 1950s tech or lower, and both my primary and US primary infantry unit (with their 1940s tech) in my current game. My best tank, best artillery units were purchased from them, best AA from Germany, I don't use anti-tank really. Yes, my best land units were still purc...

Re: Worldwide units need some loving

If i understand your game correctly Leopard2A6 wouldnt even exist on paper, seeing your game and issues you have, i have a hard time understanding why you dont try evildari's mod. To me that would be a far more interesting AAR. I know issues of WW2, thats why i quit playing that after 1 game 5 year...

Re: Inuit Nation

August 2002. Just a sitrep. I am trying to build 20 agriculture/1 Nuclear power plant at all times. Still focusing on just research but trying to help my colonies out with military/oil also. Here's their current naval power areas. http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp262/Leafgreens/sruGreenland/mada...

Re: Worldwide units need some loving

Would I be happy if I could get the export version of the Leopard 2a6. Vs a WWI design everybody gets as my ONLY design research choice? Hmm.. let me think... Not sure 'if I wanna play like that' is a valid excuse either. I'm a player. Sooner or later I always end up ahead of the AI in technological...

Re: Worldwide units need some loving

Pretty sure that issue is fixed if you start a new game.. All im doing is scrapping research centers it seems. In my current game the world is still stuck in WWII military technology. US because I keep them that way, USSR because they went all weird on what to research and decided to steer clear of...

if you want designs you can just go to any country in the world and they name you the price.
Not if they are 50 years behind me in technology.

Re: Worldwide units need some loving

I think I am just griping to gripe honestly. It's a fantastic game and seriously complex, always new tools and ways to play it to learn. And I know that major changes won't happen this long after release, just minor tweaks which they are great about doing constantly. And yeah, I could just go grab a...

Re: Highest GDP/C

3. Where can I find the GDP / c of the whole world in game? For the GDP/c of all the countries in the world you want the Regional Atlas. Different sections at the bottom of it for scores, military, all sorts of stuff. There is no 'average of the world' or 'all the countries added together' type lis...

Re: Inuit Nation

Mid 2002. Many new big military techs, zero new unit designs. Still using WWII techs mostly that I purchased from the major powers. I broke all treaties with South Africa which got rid of their units scattered around Africa, US leans towards hating me unless I do Government Support once in a while, ...

Re: Worldwide units need some loving

I am guessing editing the worldwide vs multiple vs south America vs northern Europe vs western Europe vs Europe would be a giant pain, for (haha) painfully obvious reasons. Would it possibly be easier to add older units to a future tech? Planes do well, there are companies producing export versions ...

Re: Poor FPS But Good Day Speed

On my old tablet I have found that the fastest speeds I get are either when fully zoomed in, or zoomed out one step beyond country names showing. And then being somewhere where nothing is at, like southern border between Australia and south America. For my work system that gives me about 5 seconds p...
