A WW2 special forces unit takes 46 days to build. Foreign legion have more close attack than it and only a couple less hard/soft attack and a couple less defense values yet take only 9 days to build. Here is how to fix France 1949 going through Russia with one days worth of work.

Instead of working on this and failing for multiple years, just block off Lake Ladoga, Volga River, and The Great Lakes and you fixed the entire problem of AI getting stuck in Russia and The Great Lakes. You could do this in an hour probably instead of utterly failing for multiple years to fix this....

In all modern scenarios the leader of Venezuela is Juan Guaidó. This does not reflect the reality of the situation because the U.S. backed coup against Nicolas Maduro failed and Maduro is still in power. Therefore, in all modern scenarios, please change the leader of Venezuela to Nicolas Maduro.

PFU 2020 mod that fixes the broken power system.

The mod fixes power, makes units take longer to build, gets rid of most colonies and generally makes the game less laggy. The power part is what you should implement.

As default, make it so units will not path through neutral regions.

If you make it default for the AI to turn off merchant marines going through neutral countries by just changing a 0 or 1 on the default ROE you can accomplish this. This action should fix pathing issues by some manner and hopefully a lot. Also will help the AI tremendously. Especially in the Vietnam...
