I'll try that. I'll also 'chain' events to avoid any weirdness from making them alive again, even briefly.

However it does make sense for events 8 and 40 to work on dead regions if it's specified in the event. That's why i posted it in the bugs section.

As the title says, regions that are killed off (tombstoned) can't be part of any loyalty change/merge events no matter the setting you choose. Making event permanent, fire always or include dead don't help. Tried all the possible settings, here is an example between Paris and Marseille: 11006, 0, 0,...

Seems those settings work fine, thx. Only problem I'm having now is that sound numbers of 200 and more seem to be ignored. What is exact number range i can use for new sounds? 200 and higher seem to be ignored, 90 is where default sounds end.

Are you sure these are not units using petrol? If you move units your petrol usage will go up.

Just want to point out that apparently laser guided munitions and laser gyro stabilizers lead nowhere and add no bonuses and no new units. ATM they are completely useless to research.

Balkan states on any modern scenario should have 'X' assigned to them as regional equipment. That will allow them to research most of the stuff they start with.

Probably best to hear from devs about that. Ballistic missiles tend to be assigned cluster (AOE) effect - but those are separate icons so i have no idea if ballistic, cruise, etc. are just cosmetic or have actual properties assigned to them.

Just to drop in briefly. I completely agree that growth of GDP/c is way too fast and economic game very often comes down to restraining inflation and trying to keep unemployement above 3.0.
