Re: "negotiate" button when nautral region violates my airspace

What really irks me, is that I don't get any justification for war, when for example USA violates my air space for decades. And I mean several times per month, and usually with some super high altitude planes I can't even shoot down. How about 1% war justification per airspace violation, and after 1...

Re: Financial Building Type?

Both of those facilities create an artificial boost to the GDP/c. They are not buildable since this should only be possible at specific points in the existence of a region and we did not find a good mechanic to represent this. Thank you for a quick response, but as a follow up question, does it mat...

Re: Financial Building Type?

I'm interested of what business sector actually does too. Same with that tourist special building. I've modded the game couple of times and made those buildable, but I did not see any impact after building dozens of those.

Re: Economy/Development

I'm currently playing a modded 1936 game with Cold War economy. At least for me, best approach seems to be 0% taxes, and as high product mark up as you can. All the way to 200%, and if you get message that prices are too high, just lower the price until those warnings end. After my GDP/c went over 1...

Re: Stupid AI Please improve it

In my current game AI has been doing pretty good job. USSR invaded and annexed Turkey and Greece, and parts of Middle East. Japan has conquered China and USA, and some smaller countries too. Hungary got Yugoslavia, and Italy have concentrated in Africa. I've been playing Germany, and I've been reall...

Re: Atavus' Guide to: Economy

Try this out guy, http://www.supremewiki.com/node/81 i usually go with health care recommended, family subsidy, recommended, Infrastructure recommended, and law enforcement recommended, the rest i put at 0. Also you might notice how ludicrous the population growth then is. Equally lower family subs...

Re: Atavus' Guide to: Economy

Sorry, I worded it wrongly. I meant, that for example I have 30% DAR at first, and then I get message that domestic prices are too high, and then my DAR starts to sink. Sometimes down to 20% ( so -10% ), even I make no change to taxes or social funding, until it slowly starts to increase again. So a...

Re: Atavus' Guide to: Economy

Good guide again, and works great in the build up phase. But later on, with 200% mark up I have run into problems. This happens especially with oil, but when you get message that domestic prices are too high, sometimes your DAR starts to sink. Sometimes almost -10%, and suddenly my budget's healthy ...

Re: Atavus' Guide to: Diplomacy

The Axis as the "good guys" . . . well done! I did not realize those support/opposition things were THAT powerful. So you just set it to "Support Opposition" on Netherlands, and eventually you had 70% CB against them? Yes, you can get up to 70% casus belli by just using support opposition. It takes...

Re: Germany 1936

I think it's more beneficial to attack Netherlands before anything else as a Germany. You can annex East Indies from Netherlands quite easily, and there's oil and rubber you will need later on. Netherlands can be colonized or annexed whatever you think is better. If you need population, East Indies ...

Re: Atavus' Guide to: Military

I haven't played multiplayer games ever, so I haven't really needed that great tactics, and my only knowledge comes from fights against AI. I think those tips in the OP work pretty well for average Joe. I concentrate on submarines for protection and escort duties, and my land armies consist of foot ...

Re: Improving GDP

I have never even tried Modern Campaigns, but there's similar problems in 1936 start too. I think that 1936 economy works just fine for a scenario, but for sandbox it's just broken. It's like there's 2000$ GDP/c limit, and sooner than later ( depends of the country, but around 1950s - 1970s ) social...

Re: Atavus' Guide to: Diplomacy

Great guide. I noticed that support opposition casus belli and treaty integrity are really powerful tools in my current Axis campaign too. I'm playing Germany, and I only used support opposition against Netherlands at first, and when I got 70% casus belli I DOWed and annexed both Netherlands and Eas...

Re: economy issue

I haven't tried the new patch, but at least in earlier versions I have noticed this same problem too. AI ( for example USA ) sells huge amounts of products at much lower prices than their production costs are. I don't know if this has anything to do with the problem, but if you lock a product and se...

Re: Loyalty?

Could loyalty changes be done by event system. Like if you go and immediately annex a country, they will probably hate you as long as you can keep on playing. But if you'd instead make them a colony, and slowly increase their relations to max ( give techs, money or whatever ), they could finally ask...
