SR-GW - Defeated Nation's Technologies & Unit Designs

Some may remember that I advocated a percentage of current and future Technologies and Unit Design's be giving to the victor. This issue is reinforced by my recent SR-Great War game, in which France defeated Germany in April 1915 - the month Berlin fell to French army. [Am playing France.] Thus, in ...

SR-Great War: De-coupling Certain Countries Economies from "Motherland"

One of the problems with the economic system as designed in SR-Great War is linking certain colonies with their "motherland". For example, India and South Africa are integral with the UK - you do not trade with the separately. They are linked directly with the UK. Similarly, the Dutch East Indies (N...

Re: German AI Defence problem

.....In my current game it is 1916 and Russian AI is totally passive with hundreds of units in reserve it just refuses to activate. Much could be said of the German AI, as early as 1915, when the only units that venture out of their Barracks locations are the armored cars. While I have not played ot...

Re: Railways in the Nile Valley (prior to 1935)

This is posted as a Off Topic item but the graphic included indicates that SR-36 and SR-Great War should have more extensive "network" of completed railways between Cairo and the Mediterranean (Damietta and other locations); between Kantara and Port Said on the Med; between Nag-Hamadi (or use Kena c...

Re: Turkish Railways in 1914

Re: SR- Great War - France, the War Begins

The war fights - initially with Germany, because the latter declares war on France, is detailed below in this first posting, with particular attention to French losses. The reason is to give players a perspective on Unit vulnerabilities, problems with dealing with other units, the need to have certa...

ITALY AND THE AUSTRO‐SERBIAN CRISIS OF JULY 1914 Since the beginning of the twentieth century the Balkan Peninsula was one of the most important areas for Italy’s foreign policy. Re: SRGW & SR36U - Inconsistent number of aircraft in Cat 13 Recon units

The most consistent would be: * * 1914: 9 - specifically for single/twin/trimotor designs, early in WW One period..... 6 - for 4-motor designs, including Airships / Blimps / Dirigibles, that came late in war thru 1920s/early-30s [seaplane and land-based patrol types, specifically]. SR-Great War - foreign units in French Indo-China

The French set-up includes both American and German Infantry units stationed in French Indo-China....
this would appear wrong.

* * Kampong Cham X 1479 Y 354 - German infantry

* * Phumi Takev X 1475 Y 359 - U.S. infantry

Believe these should be removed.

Thanks for considering. :-)
