everything concerning HAPX files

I don't find something in the forum and the wiki so I start this thread to become the place of discussion about HAPX files.

I set the first questions to trigger it:

2) what mean the names of HAPX files?
3) how can we create new HAPX files, what can they do and what they can't?

Re: Tiered Naval Construction

This is a balance issue, for so many countries and units is difficult to expect from devs. The best they can do is to give some advice or some modding tools, as with the map editor and leave the customization to us.

Re: Tiered Naval Construction

Everyone can make the implementation of his choice. For example upgraded plants will be more expensive so even the big countries dont need many high tech industries with the majority beeing low tech plants for light units (riflemen, boats, UAV's ...) So the uprade can be optional, not automatic. The...

Re: Tiered Naval Construction

Very innovative idea! You can also change the given classification from unit types to unit tech levels. For example Land Fab Level 1 can produce only small arms for the foot infantry, not engines for vehicles (Level 2), or big guns for artillery (Level 3). Air Fab Level 3 capable of making jet engin...

something strange with oil

When modding, in one recaching I excluded the wmdata file. The result was that all production and demand was zero, except of oil civilian demand . I found it strange and after some trials I noticed that oil civilian demand was not changing when I changed the corresponding coefficient in wmada file. ...

You must search/ask one by one. There is not a complete guide yet.

Re: Water vs. Rubber

Iron ore is the 95% of all metal ore world production, so steel production can be considered the only industrial product of the game, and the only factor of units and buildings weight. Other materials such chemicals and plastics can be incorporated in steel cost as petroleum input of industry consid...
