Campaign Tech Bug

It seems that when you beat a level in the campaign (and therefore move on to the next) that this happens: Any technology that you are researching but have NOT completed is lost... as in you can no longer research it. This happened in the Michigan map playing as Michigan, and the things I was resear...

It isn't just with carriers... I just used them as an example because generally you use carriers to have airstrips where you otherwise couldn't (the waterways). The same exact thing happens with airstrips and airbases on land... where the aircraft aren't quite sure where to land. In a lot of senario...

He means using mid-air fueling tankers... some of them have a rediculously long-range, and they can fly with your planes over the atlantic (or pacific) and provide fuel as they go. This lets your aircraft travel much further than possible, and should be able to get them across the ocean for you. The...

Khazad: That sounds very likely, although I have not tested it myself. It also seems that some areas have a much greater impact on DAR than others. Just from messing around a bit, it seems that Health Care is one of the bigger DAR issues for social services. It would be interesting for someone to do...

Yakaspat: Yup, they work fine when you only have a few, which is why I said that I use them on smaller senarios. But have you ever tried using more than 14 units of aircraft at a time? They have a nasty tendency to all try to return to the nearest base or two... causing them to overestimate how long...

I think they should use them if you use a nuke against them, or sometimes if they realize that they are doomed. It would be really fun to have some MAD (Mutually assured destruction) going on between two big powerhouse nations... I would love to see screenshots of the dozens of nukes passing eachoth...

They all seem to affect your DAR... and they also all have 'side benefits'. Some of the social services aimed at helping the lower class help to improve your immigration. Education raises lit'racy rate (hehe), which in turn helps research (untested) Infrastructure helps your supply rate for everythi...

I have not found a way to use waypoints, and have tried both shift-clicking and looking for a way using the menu. However, I really have felt little need to set waypoints, as the movement system in the game works pretty well. Also, I find that due to AA fire that setting an automatic patrol of your ...

[quote]In the missle popup, I click a missile I have built, and get the list of deployed platforms. I click a unit, and 2 buttons appear, 'load one' and 'load all'. 'Load one' works OK, but when I click 'load all', the game loads a random number of missiles, usually around 4, but I've seen as few as...

Yeah, getting kicked out of the WM is a mark of death upon your empire unless you are self-sufficient in certain things. I've actually made a habit of buying all the uranium the WM has for sale (set auto-buy off, and set a manual buy for the maximum it will let me, and keep it maxed out). That way w...

For this to work you would need much more aggressive AI. Afterall, after you conquor, say, North America... it would be pretty boring if all the other AI nations hadn't battled out and become stronger nations. I don't think that North Ireland would be much of a challenge for North America, but if th...
