I don't suppose anyone is working on a mod or has already released a mod where there are no country specific units, but rather only "world units" and more or less 'generic' names (no duplicate units with different names) ? In other words, if you have the technology, you can build the associated unit...

By the way, I like the change with supplies you've made, but how about units getting stuck in supply-less hex'es ? Do you have a remedy for that? Never saw it as a problem. Yes, sometimes units get bogged down by the AI with little hope of rescue, but as time goes on they sometimes always get free....

To me the game gets a lot more playable when you reduce the number of units. I modded it in a way where units now use 4x manpower essentially making them "brigades" instead of battalions. I once tried with 8x manpower to make them "divisions", but didn't work to well with smaller countries. On the p...

Is it possible to mod the stacking limit?

I believe it is 6 and i'd like to reduce it.

While i'm sure that seems odd to some of you, it goes in line with my current mods of reducing the unit clusterfook by 'upgrading' the units to divisions and having less on overall on the map.

I'm confused How do you figure coal is the most expensive (specifically compared to petrol now) I'm going off of ingame tooltips now, so i may be wrong, but... Coal puts out 2x the MW energy per plant while consuming less input units (coal), which also is about 2x cheaper (than petrol per unit). Ann...

+1 on being able to remove roads

Sole reason being not wanting to pay upkeep on them and 'cleaning up' your country.

While RR are not that expensive, roads do eat a big part of the budget if you got a big country with lots of roads, but no real economy.
